Karabelo is an Associate at Fairbridges. He commenced his Articles of Clerkship at Fairbridges in 2024 and is an Admitted Attorney of the High Court. He has experience in numerous litigious matters and has knowledge of court procedures. He also has rights to appear in both the District and Regional Court.
His experience includes High Court evictions and interdicts, planning and building control law, and public procurement and administrative law. He has been involved in eviction proceedings under PIE, housing reports, interdicts, planning enforcement, municipal planning reviews, procurement matters, and supply chain management-related disputes.

- Assisted in eviction proceedings under the Prevention of Illegal Eviction from and Unlawful Occupation of Land Act (PIE) in the High Court of South Africa, Western Cape Division, representing municipalities as applicants or cited as the respondents, including the preparation and submission of housing reports.
- Attended eviction hearings, assisted with the service of eviction notices, and participated in the execution process.
- Currently involved in eviction proceedings relating to unlawful occupation of the properties at No. 19, 25, 35, 39 and 47 Hope Street, Cape Town.
- Assisted in securing an interdict preventing respondents from interfering with or obstructing the City of Cape Town’s construction works, and from threatening or intimidating City officials, staff, or contractors involved in the project.
- Supported legal practitioners in matters concerning town planning, land-use regulation, and building control compliance.
- Supported senior attorneys and counsel in review proceedings relating to municipal planning decisions.
- Assisted legal practitioners with matters relating to public procurement and municipal supply chain management.
- Contributed to disputes involving procurement decisions, acting on behalf of municipalities in tender-related matters.
