Jannes is an Associate in Fairbridges’ Johannesburg Office and was admitted as an Attorney in 2026. He practises in Competition Law, Commercial Litigation, and Dispute Resolution. He advises and assists companies and private individuals across a broad range of competition and commercial matters. His competition law practice includes engaging with regulatory authorities and supporting clients through all stages of competition-related proceedings, including complaints to the Competition Commission, merger notifications, and interim relief applications.

In addition to his competition law practice, Jannes represents clients in a variety of commercial disputes and has experience in contractual disputes, debt collection matters, and administrative reviews. His work further includes representing clients in dispute resolution proceedings aimed at protecting and enforcing their rights and commercial interests in an expedient and cost – effective manner.

Jannes adopts a meticulous and solutions-driven approach to his work, with a strong emphasis on quality and precision. He is committed to delivering effective legal services that are both practical and commercially sound.
