TerraLex worldwide network of independent law firms selected as Global Network of the Year 2018.

Fairbridges Wertheim Becker, the exclusive South African member since 1999 of the international network of independent law firms TerraLex, is delighted to announce that TerraLex has been chosen as Global Network of the Year 2018 at the annual European Awards dinner in London of the prestige publication The Lawyer.

TerraLex was the choice from a shortlist of 8 nominees, picked from a long list of initial nominated networks. The judges’ citation recognised the key initiatives in the TerraLex Strategic Plan, and noted:

“As a large and mature network, the judges were impressed by the fact that it manages to remain innovative.”

TerraLex chair, Harry Truehart of New York, collected the glittering trophy on behalf of the network. Fairbridges Wertheim Becker can be justly proud that the judges made particular mention of the African Affiliate law firm programme proposed, developed, and implemented by us.
