Jodi Poswelletski is a Director at Fairbridges, based in the Johannesburg office. She advises corporates, private companies and other organisations on employment law, regulatory compliance, commercial disputes, data privacy and workplace risk.
Her practice is particularly focused on helping employers manage the legal and operational risks that arise in the workplace. This includes Employment Equity compliance, Occupational Health and Safety matters, COIDA and Compensation Fund issues, Labour Department inspections, workplace investigations, disciplinary processes, CCMA matters and arbitration.
Jodi also has strong experience in data protection and privacy law. She assists clients with POPIA compliance, privacy training, risk assessments, privacy and data protection policies, Information Officer registrations, data breach response, operator agreements, PAIA manuals and broader governance requirements. Her work often sits at the intersection of employment law, compliance, internal investigations and data handling.
In addition to her compliance-focused practice, Jodi advises on commercial and corporate litigation, business rescue and liquidation matters, dispute resolution, mediation, commercial contracts, lease agreements, due diligence investigations, restraints of trade and unlawful competition matters.
Jodi is known for translating complex legal and regulatory obligations into clear, practical processes that businesses can implement.
