The Fairbridges Vacation Programme offers penultimate- and final-year law students the opportunity to gain practical exposure to life in a leading commercial law firm, while getting to know our people, culture and areas of practice.

Applications are now open for our 2026 programme in both Johannesburg and Cape Town.

Johannesburg Office
22 June – 3 July 2026
30 November – 11 December 2026

Cape Town Office
29 June – 17 July 2026

Please note that successful applicants are required to commit to the full programme period applicable to their selected office.

Eligibility

Applications are open to:

• Penultimate- and final-year law students;
• Students currently enrolled at universities in the relevant region; and
• Students residing in the relevant region.

Regional requirements:

• Johannesburg: Applicants must study and reside in Gauteng.
• Cape Town: Applicants must study and reside in the Western Cape.
